PREMO’s BF series filters have been specially developed for Smart Meters which comply with the PLC protocols such as CENELEC Band A, PRIME and G3. These filters are installed between the Smart meter and the end-user to reduce the noise (EMI) from the end-user equipment via household or building wiring, solving the PLC communication issues.

Two options are available depending on the protection grade:

• BF-40SP-D3: IP30, the electrical connection can be accessed with a screwdriver.
• BF-40SP-D3-IPC: IP51, the electrical connection can be sealed by the installer.
